You may have noticed a name change to our bi-weekly communication! Thanks to Mr. Anderson our bi-weekly message will now be known as Jags Journal! Watch for future communications to stay in the loop with what is happening within our community.
We have a couple of announcements below to take note of and a quick reminder that our first day back for classes is January 6th, 2025.

CLUBS
Music-Band Club - Monday – Thursday at Lunch (all year) in Autobody
GSA - Tuesdays at Lunch in the Art Room
E-Sports - Thursdays at 8am and 3:45pm in the Computer Lab
AFCC - Honouring Life Club - Every 2nd Thursday- chat with Ms. Cromwell & Ms. Willis for more info (staff also welcome to join in)
Dungeon and Dragons Club - Wednesday after school- see Ms. Korman and Mr. Gallant for more info
Open Gym - Every Monday and Thursday morning starting at 7:30am. Half the gym will be basketball, half will be students' choice. All are welcome. Clean, appropriate footwear required. See Mr. Green in room 127 if you have any questions.

Jack James High School Waste Update for 2024-2025
Every year schools get to set a goal for waste management. Our most recent update around our waste management goal showed that our school currently generates: 0.0520 cubic yards of waste/student/month. This means that Waste Management picks up 1 x 4 Cubic Yards bins 2x per week from your school at a cost of $121.53/month. This means that based on our current waste generation, we have surpassed our goal!
Congratulations to our students and staff for making this happen!

Driving Learner’s Prep
Students interested in preparing for the learner’s license multiple-choice exam are invited to join us in Room 215 on Thursdays at lunch from 12:10-12:30. For any questions, please see Mr. Spanos in Room 215
Rebranded Shop
Important announcement regarding the REBRANDED SHOP! The shop will be up this week! We will be adding a lot of donations! Please be sure to check the shop out and take whatever you need. You are also welcome to take anything your family might need as well. The shop will come down on Friday and will be back once Fashion starts in Semester 2. (The winter coat rack will be left available) If you have any donations, please bring them to Ms. Bloxham’s room. Thank you!
