Explore a Career as a First Responder - Camp Courage Info Session

Are you curious about a career as a police officer, firefighter, or paramedic?

Do you want hands-on experience and the chance to train with real first responders?

Camp Courage is designed to empower young women and gender-diverse youth through education, training, and mentorship.

Event: Info Session -  Sign-up

When: Thursday, February 20th  (12:00 – 12:30 PM)
Where: Forest Lawn High School (room TBD)

Camp Courage is a seven-day camp (July 14- July 20) that empowers twenty four (24) young women and gender-diverse individuals to reach their potential through information, education and inspiration. Participants will gain knowledge and hands on experience through training sessions that provide insight into what a career as a first responder looks like. You will have daily interactions with women who currently serve as police officers, firefighters and paramedics.  Camp Courage is now accepting applications to attend the inaugural camp and it is free of charge. Instead of a fee, organizers ask the interested candidates to detail how they can positively contribute to their community or make a positive impact on an individual in their community upon completion of the camp.
