WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Meet the Teacher Evening – September 15
We are excited to welcome Jack James families to our Meet the Teacher Evening on Tuesday, September 15, from 4:00–6:00 p.m.
This evening is an opportunity for parents and families to meet their child’s teachers, learn more about their courses, and ask general questions. Please note that this is not a Parent-Teacher Conference evening. The focus is on getting to know our teachers and programs rather than discussing individual student progress. Course outlines will also be available for each course.
Evening Schedule
The evening is designed to be free flowing. Families are welcome to attend whichever teacher presentations are most relevant to their child and do not need to attend every session.
Each teacher presentation will be repeated at every time slot. For example, the Math and Science presentation at 4:15 p.m. will be the same presentation offered at 4:35, 4:55, 5:15, and 5:35 p.m.
This allows families to build their own schedule for the evening, moving between different subject areas, and visiting our information tables in the cafeteria.
Time | Session |
4:00 p.m. | Welcome and Admin Presentation |
4:15 p.m. | Teacher Presentation |
4:35 p.m. | Teacher Presentation |
4:55 p.m. | Teacher Presentation |
5:15 p.m. | Teacher Presentation |
5:35 p.m. | Teacher Presentation and Admin Presentation |
Each teacher presentation will be approximately 15 minutes, followed by a 5-minute transition period. Teachers will also be available for a short period following each presentation to answer general questions about their courses.
